I.
Key Responsibilities
Verify patient eligibility and authorization for healthcare
services
Conduct research and status unpaid or denied claims
Contact payers to secure payment of claims and manage billing
documentation
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
At least two years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts
receivable follow-up
Experience with accounts receivable software
Knowledge of medical business office procedures and third-party
payer billing
Demonstrated ability to navigate Microsoft Office and Internet
