Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior zOS Systems Programmer to
support ongoing projects involving installation, testing, and
implementation of operating systems and system software.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support for the installation, testing, and implementation
of new operating systems and software
Research and evaluate new software and hardware products, assisting
team members with technical questions
Monitor and tune systems software, ensuring optimal performance and
problem resolution
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a mainframe environment or
equivalent education and experience
College degree preferred
Advanced knowledge of z/OS, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and JCL
Experience with Unix System Services (USS) and file system
management
Ability to work well as a team member and handle multi-tasking
effectively
