  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for an experienced ER RN to work a travel assignment.
  • This position includes floating to several different satellite locations in the area.
  • The right candidates will have 2+ years of experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • Active ACLS certification
    • Active BLS certification
    • AZ (or compact) nursing license
    • COVID vaccine required or declination form with appropriate documentation and hospital approval
    • Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start, with 2 max attempts
    • A pass/fail Sim Lab is also required on Day 1 of orientation.
      • Schedule Information
      • Schedule will be made in advance so traveler is aware of what location they'll be reporting to
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
      • Holidays: As needed
      • Shifts: 12's
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Floating: No
        • Floor specific orientation: Yes
        • Vents: Vent capable
        • Lab Draws: Performed by ER staff
        • IV Team: No
          • Additional Details
          • This position will require floating between many different ER satellite locations in the area.
          • The Director tries to make one of them the home base, but Laveen may not be the main hospital they are at (Goodyear, Camelback, Mesa, Glendale, Surprise).
          • FIRST DAY PASS/FAIL TESTING - SIMs Lab: All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED.
          • NOTE: if a candidate indicates that they are not competent in either of these areas, they are probably not a good fit.
