Job Title: Engineering Service Manager
Job Summary:
Aret-- is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Service Manager to lead our team of Engineering Service Representatives. This role is critical to the success of our company and requires a strong background in engineering and team management.
Responsibilities:
The Engineering Service Manager will be responsible for:

• 
  
• Leading a team of Engineering Service Representatives to provide critical and methodical troubleshooting and representation for Aret-- outside of our offices.
  
• Generating processes and procedures needed to provide high-quality engineering services.
  
• Developing and maintaining relationships with system operators to ensure maintenance and troubleshooting of fielded systems.
  
• Supporting technical proposals with Engineering Support Service capabilities, costing, and personnel and documentation requirements.
  
• Executing required Engineering Service activities until the time that workload and contracts allow for a team to be built.
  
• Hiring and managing a team of Engineering Service Representatives to provide coverage and capability as required by associated contracts.
  
• Representing Aret-- core values both in the office and while working remotely.
  
• Working with engineering and production staff to ensure consistent and effective field work is performed.
  
• Preparing and presenting technical briefings.
  
• Maintaining detailed logs and notes of work and modifications performed for internal and customer reference.
  
  Requirements:
  To be successful in this role, the Engineering Service Manager must have:
  
  • 
    
  • A U.S. Citizenship.
    
  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
    
  • A minimum of 8 years in providing Engineering Support Services.
    
  • An understanding of high-performance computing (HPC).
    
  • An understanding of VNIR/MWIR optical sensing systems.
    
  • Experience with Linux.
    
  • Ability to work independently and in a non-office/field environment.
    
  • Active Top Secret/SCI and SAP access.

      Location: This position is based in our Northridge, CA or Tucson, AZ office. Travel both within and outside the continental United States will be required, as needed.
      Security Clearance: A successful candidate will be required to pass a government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
