Senior Infrastructure DevOps Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Engineers
to join our team. The qualified candidate will support the
development, and maintenance of our modern Infrastructure as Code
(IaC) solution in our environment. These environments, a mix of
servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware,
provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product
development and testing for a large Project producing a critical,
strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on
keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline
control. The Senior Infrastructure DevOps/IaC Engineer will be well
versed in the use of tools such as Ansible and Terraform to
implement and support the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution for
our programs. - NOTE: This position will be based out of the RTX
Facility in Aurora CO, and the ideal candidate will be expected to
come on site to the RTX campus to perform work. What You Will
Do
- You will leverage company and industry best practices and
capabilities to assist with deployment, implementation,
modernization, and support of IaC solutions
- You will support software tool customization and automation
including deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to
support program needs utilizing Ansible Playbooks
- You will assist with integration of the selected platform
provisioning tool such as Terraform
- You will assist with design/architecture/development and
support of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for
performance and scalability across on-premise computing
environments
- You will assist engineers with specialized tool usage and
issues, leveraging standards and best practices towards the
solution Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology
Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Information Technology or Physics and 5 years of related work
experience
- Experience with Linux System Administration (E.g. RHEL
6.0+)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) design,
development, and deployment
- Experience with deploying, configuring, maintaining COTS/FOSS
products such as LDAP, RHEL, Tenable, Consul, Ansible,
Terraform
- Active and existing TS/SCI security clearance is required on
day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are
eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with Ansible automation frameworks
- Implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks
- Experience with troubleshooting and debugging deployment and
software infrastructure issues
- Experience with code repository systems (E.g. ClearCase, Bit
Bucket)
- Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD
Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence,
Bit Bucket, Jenkins)
- Experience with programming languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby,
Bash, C++, C#, Go)
- Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration,
and integration
- Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum,
SAFe)
- Container development and orchestration (E.g.
Kubernetes/Docker)
- Experience with installing and configuring Kubernetes

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The
salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of
all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending
an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and
associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience,
location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may
be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical,
