• 12 weeks full-paid parental leave for primary carers and 2 weeks full-paid parental leave for secondary carers.ABOUT THE ROLEAs the Principal, Technical Marketing you will play a pivotal role in advancing technical marketing initiatives to ensure the successful start-up of Hermosa in alignment with our business objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to share strategic workstreams, foster cross-functional collaboration and contribute to sustainable growth.Other key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Represent marketing to multiple stakeholders across functions and organizations, creating clarity and buy-in to meaningfully connect people to the goal.
• Work closely with the Hermosa project team to manage multiple parallel workstreams, understand interdependencies and then provide leadership and direction to resolve constraints and achieve project goals.
• Lead in positively influencing and shaping the culture to ensure a safe, sustainable and disciplined approach to work.
• Convert long term strategies to actionable and time specific workplans.
• Support development of marketing placement, logistics and pricing strategies.
• Inform and support optimization of Life of Operation Planning for Taylor.
• Inform and support South32's Sustainability strategy as it relates to Taylor.
• Provide leadership and coordination of requisite workstreams required to maintain and strengthen South32's relationship with customers through technical support and engagement.
• Represent South32's interests at industry associations and other external forums relevant to Taylor.
• Ensure continuous improvement of the quality assurance chain from operations to customers for Taylor.ABOUT YOU
• Degree qualifications or extensive experience in the resources industry.
• 10+ years in commodity marketing, heavy industry operations, or related fields.
• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
• Strong project management, technical writing, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of commodity markets, logistics, shipping, and commercial contracts is advantageous.
• Proven ability to link concepts to econometric models and quantify impacts.
• Collaborative with strong influencing, coaching, and delegation skills.
• Agile and adaptable, with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Experience creating and implementing systems/processes in industrial settings.
