Responsibilities:
--- Handle payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for multiple small businesses.
--- File monthly and quarterly taxes for city, state, and federal levels, including payroll, property, and rental taxes.
--- Perform light HR duties such as managing hire dates, paperwork, and PTO tracking.
--- Manage invoices, reconcile bill payments and bank statements, and monitor monthly reports for irregularities.
--- Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll tax returns, including W-2s, 1099s, and unemployment audits.
--- Process intercompany reconciliations and transfers.
--- Maintain financials for each entity and generate balance sheets and P&L statements monthly.
--- Track and reconcile over 40 bank accounts, credit cards, and PayPal accounts.
--- Conduct collections and maintain tenant lease records.
--- Support audit processes for workers' compensation and insurance compliance.
--- Prepare depreciation entries and handle escrow reconciliation.
--- Communicate with CPAs to ensure tax return compliance.

Qualifications:
--- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience for small businesses.
--- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is a must.
--- Ability to analyze patterns and communicate problems promptly.
--- Experience in real estate and/or hospitality is preferred.
--- Must have excellent credit.
--- Must be willing to work in-office.
--- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
--- Strong organizational skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly.
--- Comfortable navigating between multiple companies and subsidiaries.
